Announcing .:StoRin:. contest! Starting today, friday, and ending March 31 at midnight SLT, I’m holding a contest for my store art pictures. That’s right, your photo could be the one displayed in the store!

.:StoRin:. has a wide range of clothes, accessories, poses and poseballs that you can use in your photos. It will be very easy to create the perfect image to enter the contest!

Rules for the Contest:

1. Take pictures using at least 3 products from .:StoRin:. (any combination of items – it can be poses with male and female clothes for example)
2. Entrants must be members of the .:StoRin:. Flickr Group
3. Entrants must tag their entry with “storincontest” or it will not be eligible.
4. Limited to five (5) pictures per entrant.
5. Photos should be no less than 800×725 pixels
6. Post processing of images is allowed and encouraged
7. Add your pictures to the group pool

*By submitting your photos you understand that you will be giving Annah Whitfield full rights to use the photo on the ad boards, if selected.

There will be five winners. The winners will receive:

1. Their choice of 2 .:StoRin:. single pose sets
2. Their choice of 4 .:StoRin:. poseballs
3. $1000 Shopping Spree to .:StoRin:.
4. Their winning photo will be used as wall art in .:StoRin:. walls

Winners will be picked on or before April 5th. They will be announced on the .:StoRin:. blog (http://storin.wordpress.com/) and in the flickr group.

I am working on updating prices and all the listings on the Marketplace so you can see how prices will be as I open the new store. I am also updating the discontinued items that will be only available there. While there, pick up the dollarbie available, and look for all the previous releases!

As for the inworld store, well I promise news very very soon! I am working hard to make things ready. While it is not oppened, please make sure to visit the old one and pick your favourite items in the sale sections.

I know I’ve been quiet for a while, and I won’t promise any weekly releases, but I’ll do my best to keep .:StoRin:. in your memory.

I have been working on a new blog, more clean and easy to read, where you’ll be able to find all the information regarding .:StoRin:.. You can find it HERE. In the meanwhile, until everyone gets to know the new blog, I’ll also keep posting all the info in here.

.:StoRin:. is now under some changes, new store coming soon, new releases and new prices. Some items are now marked down L$50 only, and after the building is finished, they will be discontinued in world. You will be able to find them only at the Marketplace.

Also, Lilie won’t be working as CSR anymore, since she is busy in her own RL and SL. I wish her all the best, but she knows it, ‘cuz we are still best friends. Any question related .:StoRin:. should be now send directly to me. Please see the Contacts page.

Emergency Aid for UNICEF

Hello peeps!
I’m pretty sure you’ve already heard about that awesome idea Truth Hawks just came with. But in case you didn’t, here are some facts:

It’s to raise money for UNICEF’s Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund
Several designers will put out vendors that donate a certain percentage to charity
Running from 04. September to 19. September 2010

StoRin is proud to participate in this important project with two posesets: “Something cute” and “Rubber duck” at 50% each for charity.

And two couple’s poses at 75% for charity each: “French kiss” and “Walk with me”

More info on location will follow soon, and we sure hope to see you there!

Hiii everyone! Quick post, that I forgot to post some days ago! Just come get some cute quality items at Albero. It’s really fun and addicting. Also, you can trade them later, at the trading part!

.:StoRin:. is participating with some nautical themed accessories, that will match perfectly the shorts released at the Summer of Love! Each play at the Gatcha machine is only L$15, so it’s really cheap, and you can have lots of fun!

From today on, until August 8th, a selection of your favourite designers will be presenting us with brand new items at the Summer of Love Fair. These items will be available at the fair and nowhere else ’til it’s over. Clothing, skins, hair, poses, accessories and more… we’ve got you covered. The location remained undisclosed until the fair opened, but it is finally opened and you can go get everything now! The event is not to raise money, as some other charity fairs. It is to raise awareness, which is also really needed! All profits will go to the designers!

.:StoRin:. has released brand new shorts, that will match an upcoming collection! The Heather Nautical shorts are the first release of this collection that, as the name says, it is inspired in a nautical theme! The shorts come in 3 colours (blue, red and white) and as usually permissions are no mod/cop/no transf, and for the prims mod/cop/no transf. Each colour is just L$75, and as I always do, fatpack (3 colours included) has 40% of discount!
